The project involves continuous local green power supply for a major energy user.
The project consists of long-duration Battery Energy Storage systems. The project also involves high-voltage transformers to access the grid. To ensure N+2 8760 hours per year continuity of supply to the energy user the project also has back-up generation using the lowest carbon-footprint technology available.
Community involvement and nature sensitivity are key-parts of the success. A wide range of benificial measures is included.
